May Day Strong Sign‑Waving Event – May 1
PSE members and community supporters are invited to participate in a May Day Strong sign‑waving event in support of organized labor and public education.
Date: Friday May 1
Location: 196th St SW & 36th Ave W (near the Lynnwood Convention Center)
Time: 3:30–5:30 PM on May 1
May 1 is recognized worldwide as a day for workers to celebrate solidarity and advocate for progress. This local event brings that spirit to the community, highlighting the strength and purpose of unions and the importance of strong public education.
Water and snacks will be provided for attendees, and music is planned for the afternoon. Messaging will focus on shared commitments to both labor rights and public education.
Participants are encouraged to bring signs, wear union gear, and invite colleagues, friends, and family. This is a family‑friendly event, and partners and children are welcome.
